Commander and Bandmaster of the 312th Army Band, Robert N. Claggett earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Kansas in 1982. CW4 Claggett is married and has two children. He joined the Army on 12 August 1975 and was stationed at Fort Carson, Colorado with the 4th Infantry Division Band. CW4 Claggett came off active duty in 1978 and joined the 312th Army Band on August 12th, 1978. He plays the trombone and was influenced by big bands, classical music, and his high school band director.
